Libtalker Rosie O'Donnell: Jane Fonda's Vietnam-Era Actions Correct

JANE WAS RIGHT

O'Donnell: Jane Fonda Ahead Of Her Time On Vietnam Stance

During this time of global turmoil, why have seemingly-ancient debates suddenly been resurrected? Do Americans really have time for this silliness?

While Republican Rand Paul takes heat for expressing views on civil rights legislation, he's not the only one in the middle of needlessly-revisited, circa-1960s issue: Rosie O'Donnell wrapped up a radio interview with Jane Fonda Wednesday and immediately praised her pro-Viet Cong wartime stance.

And though Rosie rarely exercises much discretion in shooting off her mouth, she knew better than to bring up the subject during her chat, knowing full well that Fonda has since apologized for being "thoughtless and careless" in some of her statements from that era.

Surely Rosie knows that Jane wasn't just "against the war", but an active supporter of the enemy, to the point of appearing in propaganda photos and giving a radio address behind enemy lines intended to damage morale on our side.

From O'Donnell's program:

The bottom line: this political gotcha game can work both ways. And while Rosie isn't running for office this year (God help us if she were), Democrats who believe the tactic will save their sagging party this November could be in for a rude awakening when it backfires.

Americans are concerned with jobs, the economy and other far more practical concerns relevant to our lives today.

  • Hmmm...I wonder how Rosie would feel if one of her kids was a POW somewhere that the leftists like Fonda think we shouldn't be involved in..I wonder how she'd feel knowing her kid tried to get a msg out to the world but Fonda happily gave it to the enemy, thus evoking harsh torture to her precious child..that's what Vets are pissed at. It's okay to protest, yet what Fonda did was to enable the torture of our American troops. For that she is a traitor.

  • I would be offended by O'Donnell's comments except that she is so irrelevent and useless. The best tactic to take is to ignore her and let her go her increasingly marginalized, inconsequential way.

  • Soon our economy is going to crumble because of the socialist debt run up by the government and reality will finally hit some of the cult Utopians upside the head.

  • Rosie O'donnell is nothing more than a gigantic mouth and va-jay jay wrapped in bacon fat.

  • Jane Fonda's father was disgusted & incensed by her conduct during the Viet Nam war. Jane will never live down her traitorous past, & Rosie is nothing but a useless "useful idiot". Both should be locked away for treason & severe mental instability. They could share a padded cell together. Yet further proof that liberalism truly is a mental disorder.

  • Rosie is a typcal angry leftist who enjoys the freedoms she has in the USA, but does'nt give a damn about those in the military who protect those freedoms. If the old saying, "ignorance is bliss", were really true, Rosie & people like her would be happier then they are.
